In order to keep things organized, here’s The Christmas Mitten Project Index, where I will list each lesson as it is published on Needle ‘n Thread.
If you bookmark this project index, you can come back to the page on Needle ‘n Thread to find each lesson. That way, if you get delayed in the project, or you want to work it again, or you want to go back to a previous lesson, you can easily find the index.
You’ll find all the project indexes for different stitch-along projects under “Tips and Techniques” in the main menu on Needle ‘n Thread. This will be the current Index at the top of the list.
If you’re new to Needle ‘n Thread and you’re just coming across this project, you can find more information about the project and the stitch along in general in this article.
We offer a full materials kit for The Christmas Mitten, so that you don’t have to scurry about trying to source materials through different suppliers. Everything you need to create a Christmas Mitten ornament is in the kit.

Coming Up!3>
On Wednesday, I’ll publish Part 3 of the Christmas Mitten project, so that those of you enjoying a holiday weekend can hopefully get some stitching in and make some progress on the mitten!
Of course I’ll pop in and say Happy Thanksgiving! on Thursday!
And I’ll be taking Friday off. We’ll be hosting our First Ever Holiday Open House on Friday and Saturday of this week (Nov 29 & 30) and next week (Dec 6 & 7) from 1:00 – 6:00 PM each day, at the Needle ‘n Thread studio in St. Marys, Kansas. The studio has just had a facelift (the new front is being painted today!), so we’re really excited to welcome folks in!
You can read more about the Open House here if you like. If you’re heading through Northeast Kansas for any reason on those days, we’d love to see you!
If you’re not in Northeast Kansas – which I realize most of you are not and won’t be! – that’s ok! We will have our online celebration shortly after the Open House. And it’ll still be fun, even though we can’t chat face to face.
And I can’t feed you cookies.
Stay tuned for more adventures. I can’t wait to share photos of the finished studio front with you soon!
