Quiet Time in the Studio & a Break

Amazon Books

Now that we are officially finished with our Christmas Stitch Snippet for the year, and now that we’ve pretty much organized our inventory areas and prepared them for next year and Many Wondrous Things to Come, we have settled into The Quiet Time of the Year at the studio.

For us, this means working on plans for next year while we finish test stitching the small project that will kick off 2024. It means a more relaxed schedule and some coveted time off!

It means we finally finished setting up this:

Christmas I-Spy preview

This is the 2023 Christmas EyeSpy puzzle that you’ll find on the website here for Christmas. We had to take a break from it last year. We had just moved the studio to a new downtown commercial space, and I was in the middle of packing up my house to move out for reconstruction. That was such a crazy few months and we just couldn’t swing the puzzle at the same time. I’m happy we were able to get back to it this year! It’s going to be a fun one!

Other than the EyeSpy that will come out with my Christmas wishes, Needle ‘n Thread is going to be very quiet until the New Year. Our last “official” shipping day of 2024 is tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20th, so if you would like to order anything that will ship before 2024, please do so before noon tomorrow. The shop will still be open for orders, but we won’t officially be shipping again until January 3rd. (I’ll be in and out at work now and then, so I may spot ship, but the circumstances will be very fluid.)

The blog will pick up again in the New Year, on January 4th.

We have a lot of exciting things planned for 2024. I look forward to sharing them with you!

I’ll see you again on Christmas!

I hope you get to enjoy some good quality time with your needle and thread over the holidays!
