Well, today’s the day to announce the winner of Trish Burr’s new book, Needle Painting Embroidery: Fresh Ideas for Beginners!

As usual, I used a random number generator for the drawing. I toyed with the idea of writing all the names out and drawing them from a hat….

Trish’s new book is available online through various sources, including Trish Burr’s website (where you’ll also find fabric with the designs from the projects in this book already pre-drawn on them, as well as her DVD on long and short stitch embroidery), Book Depository, and Amazon. You can also ask for it at your local needlework shop. If they don’t have it, I bet they can get it for you!

Congratulations. This book would be great to have even if all you ever did was enjoy the beautiful photos. But it looks very inspiring too. Have fun with it.
