A Stitcher’s Christmas, 2019 – Tied Up!

Amazon Books

Good morning, my friends, and welcome to the very Last installment of A Stitcher’s Christmas, 2019, where I’ll let you know the winners for the last two gifts.

Before going any further, I want to send out a Huge Thank You to all the small businesses who joined in this year’s series. If you are looking for needlework supplies or goods that come from reputable small businesses with excellent customer service, please frequent them!

In fact, if you’re ever looking for a specific resource, you can drop me a line and if I know who might have it, or can point you in a direction, I’m happy to do that. It’s so important to support small needlework businesses if we want to keep the industry thriving!

Besides announcing the winners of today’s give-away, I’ll give you some numbers for those of you who diligently counted items in my Christmas card photo that I posted on Wednesday. And then a little Public Service Announcement…

Tying up a Stitcher's Christmas, 2019

The winners first, right?

Red & Green Fabric & Threads Collections

First, we’ll start with the Christmas Red & Green collections from The French Needle.

This was last Friday’s give-away, featuring two collections of fabrics and threads. One collection is red and the other green, so I randomly drew winners in that order – red first, then green.

The red collection goes to Jane in Cotter, AR and the green collection goes to Janice Stills. I’ll drop you both a line.

That Whole Set of Floche

Next, the winner of that whole set of gorgeous floche from Phyllis Brown of Heirloom Beginnings.

I’ll be sending the floche off to Sharon in Idaho next week! Oh, you will love it!

Numbers

Here are the numbers of Things to Find in Wednesday’s little Christmas puzzle:

  • Snowflakes: 45
  • Sheep: 3
  • Scissors: 8
  • Pins: Green – 3; Red – 5; Gold – 4; White – 2
  • Trees: 3 that are Very Evident, and, if you know what you’re looking at (on the Grinch cup), you might say 6
  • Marys: 3
  • Rings for thread: 10
  • The snowman is doomed, ready to be pierced by the laying tool. In fact, I just ate him and saved him from this otherwise-fate
  • Threads: 21
  • Deer: 2
  • A Little Break

I always need to take a very short break from the blog this time of year, so that I can concentrate on planning for the next year here on Needle ‘n Thread.

I’ve already started planning – I’ve actually been planning for 2020 since last year – but during the next week, I’ll be honing down specific goals for the first few months of the year, getting all those proverbial ducks lined up so that the year at least begins on an organized note!

So, I’ll be back on January 6th! See you then!

PS – My shop is still open, if you’re looking for new projects to stitch in 2020.

  8. Not sure if people are aware that SearchPress is currently offering digital downloads of various classic books for free to celebrate their 50th birthday (including several titles for embroidery).
